M&E Officer - FSAC&CCCM
- Location:
Sana’a (with regular travel to other sites).
- Period:
8 months, renewable subject to performance.
- Duty
Station: Life Makers Meeting Place Organization (LMMPO), Sana’a, Dhamar
city–Yemen.
- Terms:
Full Time Position (8 Eight hours per working day), with field visits to
the work sites.
- Classification:
MEAL Management.
- Expected
start Date: 01-09-2025.

grade: - Fourth degree.

LMMPO is keen to have a competent candidate to fill the position of M&E
Officer.
Purpose/Scope of the task
Develops proper monitoring and evaluation planning based on
the major indicators of project. - Ensures that relevant project activities are
tracked and maintains monitoring and evaluation system to best measure the
quality, progress and impacts (results) of all project activities. Also, he/she
will ensure the quality of all the purchases of the project and procedures of
the project activities are in line with internal policies of LMMPO, he or she
will supervise the baseline and endline that will be conducted by surveyors. He
or She supervise and guide the surveyors who will conduct the 6 PDMs in the
field and submit all the data to the M&E officer for analysis and writing
the reports. (HQ).
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Project M&E Officer:
1. Track the progress of project
activities to ensure they are on schedule and achieving desired outcomes.
2. Collect and document data on project results, outputs, and
impacts to measure success and inform future decisions.
3. Design and implement tools and forms for data collection
and monitoring.
4. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the beneficiary
database, updating it regularly.
5. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to
assess project performance.
6. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to donors, meeting
all requirements and deadlines.
7. Promote transparency and accountability by sharing
information with stakeholders and beneficiaries.
8. Establish and manage a system for receiving and addressing
feedback or complaints from beneficiaries and stakeholders.
9. Conduct awareness sessions on CFM in coordination with the
CFM Focal Point.
10. Facilitate sessions to capture and share lessons learned
from project implementation to improve future activities.
11. Collaborate closely with the Unit at LMMPO to align
M&E activities with organizational goals.
12. Coordinate with the donor M&E Specialist to ensure
all monitoring and evaluation activities are aligned with the donor standards
and effectively implemented.
13. Understand the local context, including cultural, social,
and political dynamics, to ensure M&E activities are relevant and
effective.
14. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, beneficiaries,
and team members to ensure clarity and collaboration.
15. The officer will have regular field visits to monitor
activities and engage with beneficiaries.
16. Perform administrative and reporting tasks in the office,
including data analysis, report writing, and database management.
17. Lead and support data collection and reporting for
baseline and endline evaluations, and PDM to assess project impact, beneficiary
satisfaction, and implementation effectiveness as well as detailed field visit
reports.
18. Any other tasks assigned by the MEAL Unit at LMMPO.
Qualifications and Skills
Study and Training:
- University
degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in a related field (Business
Administration, International Development, etc.) Master's degree in
related field is preferred.
- At
least 5 years of work experience with local and international
organizations in the same field required.
- 4-5
years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation Management /Risk
experience with background in risk analysis preferred.
- At
least 3-5 years of experience in the same field for projects such as
M&E (working in the field of emergency food security and supporting
camp coordination and coordination of its activities for internally
displaced persons and vulnerable host communities).
Languages:
- Fluent
in Arabic and English (Speaking and Writing).
Skills:
- Competence
in using information Technology (IT) including Word, Excel and common
packages such as DHIS, ONA, GBVIMS, SPIMS, SPSS, EXCEL, etc.
