Position Title: Volunteer (Various Roles)

READ Foundation is an international
NGO, registered in UK in 1994, With aim of contributing to alleviating the
sufferance of the population of Yemen, Read Foundation established its
operations in Yemen late July 2020. Since its establishment, READ Foundation
has assisted the affected population with lifesaving interventions in different
governorates directly, through local partners and in partnership with local
communities.
Position Summary
Under
the supervision of the assigned supervisor, the Volunteer) intern) will support daily
administrative and field activities, including data entry, documentation,
reporting, surveys, and distributions. The Volunteer is expected to complete
tasks accurately and on time, maintain professionalism and flexibility, and
provide general operational support as needed. All Volunteers must comply with
RFY policies, the Code of Conduct, safeguarding standards, and principles of
equality and inclusion.
Requirements: Availability
and commitment Good communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work
in the field
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or
related experience.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply;
prior internship experience (minimum 3 months) is an advantage.
- English skills is an advantage.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel,
Outlook).
- Able to work under pressure and manage tasks
effectively.
- Flexible, adaptable, and respectful.
- Ability to work in challenging environments.
- Any NGO-related training or courses are a plus.
